Your data, your plan

Last updated 17 July 2026. GetSettleDown is operated in connection with CoreSpaces. We process personal data to build and sync your settling-in plan — not to sell lists.

What we collect

When you save a plan: name, email, corridor answers (visa route, family status, arrival date), step progress, and optional service requests. Drafts may live in your browser until you consent and save.

Consent — two layers

core_plan — required, default unchecked, before we store your account and move on our servers.

partner_share — separate, per partner, default unchecked. Shown only when you choose to introduce a third party. We share the minimum fields for that category (e.g. a mover does not need your visa type; a bank may).

Marketing email is a separate optional opt-in and can be paused from reminder links.

Soft-launch instrumentation

Optional reality checks (did a step match the counter?) and origin/waitlist signals help us fix content and choose the next corridor. Waitlist email requires a separate opt-in (corridor_waitlist). These records are included in export and removed on account delete when tied to your user or email.

Your rights (PDPL / GDPR)

Signed-in users can export their data and delete their account from the plan screen. Deletion removes move data we control; if a document blob cannot be purged, deletion fails closed rather than leaving orphans.
